This is my voice. This is my rage. I did not consent to this usage of my voice, and I would prefer if it was taken down because I was not aware of the recording at the time it was taken.

I do however recognize artistic freedom, and I understand that if I wanted nobody to hear it, then I ought not to have said it in the first place.

That said, I am going through a mental health crisis right now, and that's no secret. Kittiemarie has forced my hand in releasing this track; in that I have to tell you this is not who I am, this is not who I want to be, but this is a mask I crafted from abuses when I was younger. It's a mask that only comes out when I have been put in fight-or-flight mode, and it is a mask I am having difficulty destroying.

The things I said were real, not satirical, and recorded against my consent. They were also released without my consent, and as such I believe they are inflammatory and potentially detrimental.

I told Kittie she could use this with my consent IF she changed my voice to be unrecognizable as DJDj, as this rage response is not the person I want represented in DJDj. She refused. So I submit this to the community for review.

You all have been so kind and supportive over the years. I trust your judgement on whether or not this is fair game.

Kittitemarie, please take this down. I can't force you to listen, but I can beg you to please have mercy and know I am working on myself. That is why the therapy.

Hey, I don't know if you've actually got those vocs done or not, but if you'd like I can try my hand at the piece.

It is in my experience to share that forcing it usually won't go too well.

I'd much prefer a nice, simple, I-C-V-C-V-SC-C-O format that takes 4 years to complete and blows my mind to hear it the first time. Think of like... Boston.

But I've seen simple loops go for *marathons* beyond expectation in my past. If you ask me, that's no accident either.

I think they might like it, too. Heh.

At any rate, YO! Your music makes the air smell cleaner around me. I'll take it as perfection.

I enjoy the vocs that are there in this track already, btw. I can almost see the rhythm arrows, which always makes my heart sing.

You may look at looping it just a bit smoother, if at all possible...

10/10 would and will recommend. Looped for like 10 mins and I didnt even notice until I was done after the first one. Bravo!

Anyway, I tried to make looping smoother before, but the MP3 was just stubborn; it was annoying.

And, for your information, I am producing loops and full pieces so that there is more variety of pleasure and utilization. ;)

And about the vocals, it's not my voice, like, at all. I grabbed a vocal sample and transmogrified it into a chromatic scale. It's really not that hard. The hardest part is finding a good and suitable vocal sample.

That chiptune just... buzzes my brain in all the right corners, you know? I think it's because you made it for somebody else, if I had to guess. But I'd also guess you're a wildly talented and experienced musician who loves deeply and truly.

Thank you so much for this. And for including that amazing bit of trumpet prowess. Trumpet is such an underrated instrument these days.

Yes, proper credit where proper credit is due is always nice...

I started out with much the same concept in mind. All my music was to always be for free; that was the price I told myself I had to pay. But [spoiler alert] it was paid cost, all along.

Don't beat yourself up so bad, okay? Not every song is gonna amass 5 stars, no matter how hard you try. That doesnt make it a futile effort. It makes it that much more meanigful when it actually does happen.
